Syrendell Giveaway!

We are giving away three items to three lucky individuals.  Each person will also receive a coupon worth $10 towards any Syrendell consultation or workshop

1.  The Children's Year book, by Cooper, Fynes-Clinton and Rowling.  Used, but in great shape!  Such a wonderful resource to have for your home.

2.  A skein of Lagoon Fairy Handspun Yarn, 33 yards.  Perfect for handwork projects.

3.  A handmade, birch wood Naalbinding Needle (about 3.5 in. long).  Naalbinding is an ancient Scandinavian technique the predates knitting -- a good project for ages 9 and up.  Also works beautifully for weaving projects for ages 5 and up.

To be considered for the giveaway, post a comment here and we will put your name on a tag that will go into a bag for the drawing.  An additional entry may be earned by adding info. and a link to your blog, Facebook or Twitter (let us know if you did any of these in your comment).  Be sure to include your email in your comment so that we can easily reach you!

Drawing will occur on Saturday, August 14, at 11pm PST.  We'll post the winners on Sunday!

What an amazing giveaway from an amazing family. Reading your posts I see similar losses and it made me cry. Even though we know each moment together is a blessing. Loss takes time. Our cat just passed and it was extremely difficult for all of us. I also lost my baby through miscarriage and just seeing your belly brought tears and memories. I did get pregnant a couple of months later and my beautiful girl turned 5 in March!

Ooooo! The yarn looks beautiful and I have yet to try Scandinavian weaving, despite living in Finland! Plus I would love to delve into the book as I relish new ideas. One of the reasons I enjoy blog sharing as there is a wealth of experiences and knowledge out there, thank you for sharing yours.
